PROCESS HIGHLIGHT

Exqui-Sit Furniture E-Commerce Website

Project Summary

This wasn’t just about furniture. It was about trust, timing, and conversion. The idea came from a simple question I asked myself: What really drives someone to click ‘Buy’?

I didn’t want just a sleek interface — I wanted to build a site that would make any user feel confident about their decision. From social proof to urgency, I focused on elements that truly support buying behavior.

The Goal

To create a clean, persuasive furniture website that turns browsers into buyers by using key UX and business strategies.

Core Challenges

Balance clarity and persuasion in one screen.

Make static UI feel human and credible

Avoid over-decorating while staying visually appealing

Keep CTAs strong without looking too aggressive

What I Did First: Research

Design without research is decoration.

Audited 5 live furniture e-commerce sites to understand UX pitfalls

Noted patterns that made sites feel more “shoppable” vs. just “beautiful”

Mapped a typical user journey to spot where most users drop off

Studied how design elements (e.g. timers, reviews, CTA wording) affect decision-making

What I Improved

Built-in trust, simplicity, and persuasion — without shouting.

Review Summary in Hero: 95% of users look at reviews — so I placed it top and center

Shop Now” CTA: One bold, action-focused button to reduce friction

Flash Sale with Countdown: Time-sensitive offers that create urgency

Real Testimonials: Positioned before buying decision points

Core Benefit Highlights: Free shipping, durable material, and design quality — all above the fold

Customer Support Access: Visible and friendly, for post-purchase reassurance
